Wilbert Cummings, Jr. is Lead Pastor of Joshua House Ministries. His mission is to build a community of God fearing people that will influence, engage, and equip the individuals they come in contact with.
A native of Los Angeles, CA. Pastor Cummings was educated in the Los Angeles County public school system. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Tennessee State University and then went on to receive his Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Directing from Lipscomb University, both in Nashville, TN.
Pastor Cummings was licensed to preach the gospel in 2005. He is an insightful preacher that seeks to reach people through the word of God in a way relating to life's circumstances. He is a member of Alpha Iota Nu Fraternity and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He is the proud father of 6 girls and 2 boys. Pastor Cummings strives to live by and exemplify his motto of loving people for who they are and not for what they do.
Nakita Burns Cummings is Leading Lady and Co-Pastor of Joshua House Ministries. Her mission is to inspire, motivate, and encourage women and men to be better versions of themselves everyday.
A native of Nashville TN, Nakita was educated in the Davidson County public school system. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix.
Nakita was licensed to preach the gospel in . She is an insightful speaker and author of " Getting on Track a 30-Day Devotional and Journal", a book that will empower and uplift. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She strives to be a virtuous woman and encourages everyone that she encounters to be the vessel that God called them to be. It is her goal to Motivate, Inspire, and Encourage every person of God until the earth is filled with the joy of the LORD!
